The Inaugural Lone Star Shootout will help fill the void for Ford Drag Racing enthusiasts who have yet to see an all-Ford event this year in the Lone Star State.

Baytown, TX - Houston Raceway Park, Southeast Texas largest motorsports facility, has designated the month of July as "Raising Cancer Awareness" month. A portion of proceeds from all racing events held during the month long campaign will go toward benefiting local cancer charities and cancer research.
"Cancer has touched all of our lives in one way or another and we want to extend our reach to help in the fight for the cure," said Seth Angel, General Manager.
